Situated over 12 square miles on the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, Heath is an involved member city of the fast-growing Rockwall and Kaufman Counties.

HEATH LEADERSHIP

A HOME RULE CITY

The City of Heath is a Home Rule City with a council-manager government. The Heath City Council consists of a Mayor and six Council Members who are elected at large. The City of Heath Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) and Heath Municipal Benefits Corporation (HMBC) were incorporated in 2002 as separate Type A and Type B organizations that are governed by the Heath City Council.
